The summer season is over! If you are interested in playing in the Spring of 2009 or Winter of 2008, contact Alex at alex@sandypointsports.com.
The Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League (BILL) at DuBurns Arena starts on September 9th. We are still accepting players for this team, but we are filling up fast. Contact Alex for more info at alex@sandypointsports.com.
The Howard County Summer League season is now over. We ended up 7-3 and won our first round playoff game. We were barely up-ended in the second round, but we look forward to next year to go back and win it all.
Laxtoberfest is only a month away and the team is already full. This looks to be one of the best tournament teams we have put together. Laxtoberfest is always a good time during the first weekend in October. If you can come out and enjoy the fun, please do. Check out www.heroslacrosse.com for more info on that.
The 1st annual Sandy Point Golf Outing was a success and we will have news soon on the 2nd annual golf outing. We would like to thank our sponsors for the event and all of the participants. We raised a nice amount of money for two great charities in The St. Jude Children's Hospital and Homes for our Troops. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year and adding new participants for a good time.
We are still interested in starting a women's club lacrosse team. If you, or anyone you know is interested in being on a post-collegiate women's lacrosse team, have them email Alex at alex@sandypointsports.com.
